Andy Gemao will play in the 2024 SMART National Basketball Training Center National Finals.
The prolific 6-foot guard has committed to join Fil-Am Nation in the national finals which takes place in March at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
Fil-Am Nation founder Cris Gopez is excited to have the 17-year-old on his team.
“Great kid! Andy has the grit and what it takes to be at the next level,” said Gopez.
Gemao is currently in the US, playing for Veritas Academy National Prep in hopes of attracting a Division I offer.
Last year, he was the fourth-ranked prospect by the NBTC.
During last year’s tournament, Fil-Am, a team bannered by Caelum Harris, JJ Mandaquit, and Jacob Bayla, placed second to National University Nazareth School.
