Andy Gemao continues to gain international recognition after earning a spot in the 19th adidas Eurocamp, one of the world’s premier pre-draft basketball development camps, scheduled for June 5 to 7 in Treviso, Italy.
Gemao, one of the Philippines’ brightest young talents, secured his invitation following an impressive showing at the adidas Tokyo Nations Camp earlier this year.
His inclusion places him among an elite group of prospects aged 18 to 22 from across Europe, the United States, Latin America, Africa, Australia, and the Asia-Pacific region who will showcase their skills in front of NBA and EuroLeague coaches, scouts, and executives.
The selection marks another milestone in Gemao’s rise.
Adidas Philippines first signed the dynamic guard in 2023, making him one of the brand’s youngest basketball athletes before he emerged as a standout on the international stage.
The invitation comes on the heels of another significant achievement for Gemao, who recently committed to Penn State University.

Widely regarded as one of the top pre-draft showcases outside the United States, the adidas Eurocamp has long served as a launching pad for players aspiring to reach the professional ranks.
This year’s edition will feature a diverse pool of prospects from various development pathways, including draft-eligible upstarts, 3SSB standouts, NBL Next Stars, NextGen EuroLeague talents, and emerging players from other major basketball markets.
Adding to the experience for participants will be the presence of NBA stars Franz Wagner of Orlando, Bogdan Bogdanović of the Los Angeles Clippers, and Philadelphia rookie VJ Edgecombe.
Both Bogdanović and Edgecombe are former Eurocamp participants and will serve as mentors, sharing their experiences and offering guidance to the next generation of international prospects.
The camp will be overseen by coaching director Bill Bayno and scouting director Gianluca Pascucci.
