Red Lions wish Jarin the best in NU path

The San Beda College Red Lions remain grateful to the two years Jamike Jarin spent with them

There were no hard feelings nor broken bridges after former San Beda Red Lions head coach Jamike Jarin resigned from his post two years into his four-year contract.

In a statement released by team manager Jude Roque, who is speaking on behalf of the community, they wish him nothing but the best in the new journey he is about to face with National University.NCAA-92-Finals-G2-AU-vs.-SBC-Jamike-Jarin-5442 Red Lions wish Jarin the best in NU path Basketball NCAA News SBC - philippine sports news

“On behalf of Fr. Aloysius Maranan, OSB, the Rector-President, and San Beda College, I wish Coach Jamike Jarin the best in his career as he takes on the new challenge as head coach of the National University Bulldogs in the UAAP.

“We will always be grateful for the fruitful two years that he nurtured the Red Lions, and for the many championships he helped win for the school, especially the 2016 NCAA title, and the 2015 Fil-Oil Cup and PCCL crowns,” the statement read.

In his two-year stay in Mendiola, Jarin compiled a 32-12 record with San Beda, 5-3 in the post-season. He bagged silver in his first year while taking home gold in his second and final year after a series sweep of the Arellano Chiefs.

“Coach Jamike will always be part of the Bedan family,” the statement closed.

And whatever happens, the Bedan community will continue to support Jarin.
