Possible ACL tear for Kevin Alas

Fifth-year pro Kevin Alas might have suffered the biggest setback in his career.

According to multiple reports, the six-foot combo guard was initially diagnosed as to having torn his right Anterior Cruciate Ligament.

The assessment was made Monday morning by reknowned specialist Dr. Raul Canlas.

The injury happened 40 seconds into Game Five of the NLEX Road Warriors’ best-of-seven semifinals series against the Magnolia Hotshots. Alas went for a drive but suddenly crumbled to the floor with no contact.

Alas is set to have further testing, Monday afternoon.
