Mark Dyke back in La Salle


After missing the entire UAAP Season 80 Men’s Basketball tournament, utility forward Mark Dyke is set to make a comeback with the rebuilding De La Salle University Green Archers.

Photos have surfaced on social media that Dyke was back with La Salle the past few weeks. A school official, who requested anonymity, confirmed that he is back and enrolled with the school.

Prior to this, the former NU Bullpup left La Salle and tried out for the FEU Tamaraws.

He did not enroll in FEU, instead deciding to come back home to San Fernando, Pampanga for recollection.

As he did not enroll in FEU, Dyke will no longer have to serve residency and is eligible for UAAP Season 81.

The 20-year-old, who will turn a year older on September 28, will still have four playing years remaining.

During his rookie year, Dyke played sparringly under then-Green Archers head coach Aldin Ayo. He only played a total of 27.7 minutes, accumulating 11 points on 4-of-11 shooting to go along with 13 rebounds.

Tiebreaker Times’ source added that they have high hopes for Dyke the upcoming season as he has been “outstanding” during the team’s sessions.
