During Game Four of the PBA Commissioner’s Cup Finals, every member of the TNT Katropa had a strip of masking tape wrapped around the sleeve of their jersey with the word “KRISTY” written over it.
When Tiebreaker Times asked who Kristy was, a TNT official responded that Kristy is the wife of the Katropa’s 25-year-old reinforcement Joshua Smith.
Kristy Smith, who is in Seattle, Washington, is currently 6,638 miles away from his husband and is, as of the moment, in labor.
“We are dedicating this game to her,” the TNT Katropa official declared.
Though playing with a heavy heart that he could not be with his wife, Joshua Smith is gutting it out with the TNT Katropa as they try to knot the series at 2-all.
