The Philippine Under 22 Men’s National Team concluded its 32nd Southeast Asian Games campaign with a 1-0 loss to Myanmar on Wednesday at the Smart RSN Stadium in Phnom Penh.
Thet Hein Soe’s tap-in during the 55th minute condemned Rob Gier’s side to last place in Group A, with only 1 point from a draw and three defeats.
Myanmar was even reduced to 10 men in the 83rd minute after Lat Wai Phone was dismissed for receiving a second yellow card. However, the Azkals U22 failed to capitalize on their numerical advantage.
