Marc Polo “Raven” Fausto headlined Team Nemesis’ entry into the Dota 2 scene, leading the squad’s all-Filipino roster in their debut at DreamLeague Season 26.
Raven, who last played for the now-defunct Blacklist International, is one of the most decorated Dota 2 players in the Philippines, having competed for over a decade and appeared in five The International tournaments.
The 26-year-old hard carry, however, is moving on to the offlane this time around as Team Nemesis looks to maximize his experience in a new role.
Raven will be joined by carry Philip Joshua “Karma” Torre, midlaner Red Laurence “Magg!” Roa, soft support John Rey “Jing” Duyan, and hard support James Erice “Erice” Guerra.
Team Nemesis COO Sebastian Lubczyk expressed his strong belief in the full potential of Filipino players, calling them the “most gifted Dota 2 players in the world” and a key factor in the organization’s vision for success.
“The Philippines has some of the most gifted Dota 2 players in the world — they just need the right platform and a team that truly believes in their potential,” said Lubczyk.
“We’re here to be that team. Our goal is to nurture their talent, amplify their strengths, and help them conquer the global stage,” she added.
Since its founding, Team Nemesis has established itself in the competitive gaming scene with successful runs in Halo, Trackmania, and Rainbow Six Siege. Now, the organization is expanding into Dota 2, a game that holds deep significance to its founders.
Team Nemesis will make its highly anticipated debut in the open qualifiers of the DreamLeague Season 26, which will begin on March 28.
