Former TNC midlaner Armel “Armel” Tabios officially joined Fnatic, Saturday afternoon.
Also joining Fnatic is up-and-coming support Jaunuel “Jaunuel” Arcilla, who played for OB Esports x Neon in the previous Dota Pro Circuit season.
“As the next season of the Dota Pro Circuit looms closer, Fnatic Dota welcomes two new additions to the team in Armel Paul ‘Armel’ Tabios and Jaunuel ‘Jaunuel’ Arcilla,” said Fnatic in a statement.
Armel left TNC after a disappointing campaign that saw the organization miss The International 10 — the first time in six years.
Meanwhile, Jaunuel had an amazing run with OB.Neon, leading the team to a top six finish in the Singapore Major where they scored numerous upsets against squads from across the globe.
The team, however, was never the same after it returned for Season Two which cuased their downfall.
“Armel’s vast experience across numerous LAN events including a Major championship is a welcome addition to the team. Always hungry for victory, “Chief” Armel looks to add up to his already stacked resume through his new journey with Fnatic,” the statement continued.
“Jaunuel meanwhile is an up and coming support player that made waves during the Singapore Major where he led his team to an impressive top 6 finish. He is known for his unique playstyle and flexible hero pool, playing heroes such as Faceless Void and Troll Warlord as a support – peak SEA spirit,” Fnatic added.
With Jaunuel’s arrival, Fnatic skipper Anucha “Jabz” Jirawong will slide up the offlane position while Djardel “Dj” Mampusti will return to the position four role.
Completing the squad is Filipino carry Polo “Raven” Fausto, who just signed an extension along with Jabz and Dj.
The Dota Pro Circuit Southeast Asia 2021-22 Tour 1: Division 1 will begin on December 1, Wednesday.
