PVL unveils exciting 2024 calendar with two new teams, international flavor


The Premier Volleyball League (PVL) reveals its action-packed calendar for the 2024 season, promising fans an unforgettable year of thrilling volleyball action.

The league is set to welcome two new teams, Capital1 and Strong Group, expanding the competition to a total of 12 teams.

These new additions will join the ranks of established teams such as Creamline, Petro Gazz, Choco Mucho, Chery Tiggo, PLDT, Cignal, Akari, Nxled, Farm Fresh, and Galeries.

PVL President Ricky Palou expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming season, stating, “This year’s calendar is designed to align with the FIVB schedule, ensuring a seamless integration of international and domestic volleyball events. We are committed to delivering a world-class experience for our fans and players alike.”

The 2024 season kicks off with the much-anticipated 2024 All-Filipino Conference, commencing on February 20.

To set the stage for the exciting season ahead, Cignal will host a media day from February 11 to 12, providing fans with a sneak peek into the teams, players, and behind-the-scenes action.

The media day will be streamed on Pilipinas Live, allowing fans to join the festivities from the comfort of their homes.

Following a brief hiatus, the PVL returns with the Reinforced Invitational Conference, where teams will be strengthened by one foreign guest player each.

Notably, national team members are excluded from participating in this conference.

Adding an international flair, two foreign teams will be invited to showcase their talents, promising fans a diverse and competitive tournament.

After another break, the much-anticipated 2024-25 All-Filipino Conference is slated to run from October 2024 to May 2025, providing an extended season that allows fans to witness the best of Philippine volleyball.
