PVL opens Combine to free agents

The Premier Volleyball League (PVL) opened the Combine activities set from June 25 and 26 at Gameville Ball Park in Sheridan, Mandaluyong to the free agents of the league.

This event is a golden opportunity for free agents – players who have competed during or after the 2021 season and currently have no valid contract – to showcase their talents to league coaches and potentially secure a contract.

Although free agents will not participate in the Draft festivities scheduled for July 8, the Combine presents a significant chance for uncontracted players to be observed by PVL team coaches.

PVL Commissioner Sherwin Malonzo emphasized the importance of this event, stating, “This Combine serves as the second chance that many players are yearning for to get a team. It’s an opportunity for them to demonstrate their skills and dedication in front of the decision-makers of our league.”

Free agents eager to participate can register online at https://pvl.ph/freeagent.

Application forms can be emailed to [email protected].

The schedule for the Combine is as follows:

  • Day 1: June 25, from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM
  • Day 2: June 26, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM

Also taking part in the Combine are the 47 aspirants who will be part of the PVL Draft.
