Panda to miss RSG PH’s MSC campaign

RSG PH will be heading to the 2022 Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup without its leader.

Head coach Brian “Panda” Lim, who steered the team to its first title in the recently-concluded MPL Philippines Season Nine, is set to miss the regional tilt.

While he respectfully declined to reveal details, Panda told Tiebreaker Times that the reason is ‘nothing serious’ and that the organization will make an official statement prior to the tournament.

“No worries, it’s nothing serious naman. RSG PH will make an announcement,” the two-time champion coach said.

Calling the shots for the reigning MPL Philippines champion is assistant coach Karl “Giee” Barrientos.

RSG PH will be bannered by reigning Season Nine MVP Dylan “Light” Catipon and finals MVP Nathanael “Nathzz” Estrologo.

Completing the team are Jhonard “Demonkite” Caranto, Arvie “Aqua” Calderon, Eman “Emann” Sangco, and reserve Dexter “Exort” Martinez.

The team is slotted in Pool B along with sister squad RSG SG of Singapore and Cambodia’s See You Soon.

The MSC 2022 will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and will start on June 11, Saturday.
