P4kbet explains Omega’s decision to release OUTPLAYED, Allidap

Omega Esports has mutually agreed to part ways with Jhonville “OUTPLAYED!” Villar and Romiere “Allidap” Padilla, the organization announced last Saturday.

Both players rode the bench for the entirety of the MPL Philippines Season Nine which saw the SMART-backed squad finish in second place. But some teams still have expressed their interest in the two promising players which is why the organization decided to let them walk.

“May mga kumukuha na rin sa kanila. Wala kasing mga tournament for amateur na pwede yung mga MPL [players] na hindi naglaro ng MPL. Dati kasi pwede e kaya kineep namin sila dati,” said P4kbet during the MSC Send-Off press conference for RSG PH and Omega.

“Pero ngayon kasi, bawal na sila maglaro sa iba’t ibang tournaments na hindi MPL. Kaya ni-let go na namin sila na pumunta na ng ibang team para doon sila mag grow as a player,” he added.

With the two out, only Kiel VJ “Kielvj” Hernandez, Cesar “Amethyst” Santos, and Billy “Z4pnu” Alfonso remain as the team’s reserves. They round up the roster along with Joshua “Ch4knu” Mangilog, Duane “Kelra” Pillas, Renz “Renzio” Cadua, Patrick “E2MAX” Caidic, and Dean “Raizen” Sumagui.

The team is set to compete in the upcoming Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup this coming June in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
