A week before the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Mid-Season Cup (MSC), Rowgien “Owgwen” Unigo welcomed his newborn baby and made sacrifices to compete in this prestigious tournament, despite being away from his family.
His 23-year-old partner stood by him despite the challenges, recognizing the tournament’s significant prize pool of $1,000,000, which could greatly support their new family. Her unwavering support became the cornerstone of Owgwen’s motivation throughout the tournament.
Prior to the tournament, Falcons AP.Bren coach Francis “Duckey” Glindro and EXP laner David Charles “FlapTzy” Canon expressed their dedication to support Owgwen and his child in this tournament.
Now that M5 World Champions have reached the semifinals and will face Team Liquid ECHO once again, win or lose, Owgwen and his team are poised to secure a significant prize.
They could potentially earn a lion’s share of $200,000 with a 4th place finish, or aim for the grand prize of $1,000,000 and the title of MSC 2024 champions.
