Omega has proven that they are more than just the endgame, says E2MAX

Late-game has always been the name of the game for Omega Esports.

But this Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League-Philippines Season Eight playoffs, the roster led by Patrick “E2MAX” Caidic and Joshua “Ch4knu” Mangilog proved that they are more than just that.

On Thursday night, the SMART-backed squad made quick work of ECHO Philippines, booting them out via a quick 4-1 victory.

“Yun yung pinractice namin [early game] since alam namin na kaya namin i-pull off yung mga late game,” bared the Omega Esports team captain.

“Pinalakas rin namin yung mga early rotations namin para hindi na kami dumating sa point na ganun.”

No late-game comebacks were seen in the match as Omega Esports finished all three of their wins before even entering the 13-minute mark – showing that they, too, can dominate in early games just like the top squads in the MPL Philippines.

According to E2MAX, the team worked on their early rotations to give the team a plethora of options in closing out matches – something that the team lacked in the previous season.

The support veteran finished with three kills, three deaths, and three assists, taking the SMART 5G MVP in the Game Four win.

Omega Esports’ newly added scheme will get put to the test on the second round against rival and defending champion Blacklist International tomorrow at 6:00 PM.

And he can’t wait to show their improvements against Blacklist.

“Sobrang naging maraming issue pero ngayon po gusto lang namin maipakita ang ibalik ang dating laban na healthy rivalry,” E2MAX continued.

“Sana ‘yung mga fans wala nang away. Wala kaming hinaing kaya excited na kami.”
