MPL PH: Nexplay Evos does not let up, sweeps RSG to solidify third seed

Nexplay EVOS swept RSG PH, 2-0, to solidify its hold of the third spot in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League-Philippines Season Eight, Friday night.

The team, which already secured its playoff spot last week after sweeping TNC, improved its standing to 6-7 with 21 points to remain at the third spot.

Despite already locking their playoff spot last week, Nexplay EVOS still went all out against RSG PH in Game One – showing great composure to extract a tight 16-12 win which lasted for 36 minutes and 15 seconds.

RSG PH was poised to secure the win entering the 35-minute mark after taking the Luminous Lord, but Nexplay EVOS managed to control the siege and counter engaged which saw them secure a four-man wipe and eventually, the win.

Renejay “RENEJAY” Barcarse (Benedetta) who made the win possible through his continuous cutting, nabbed the SMART 5G MVP with two kills, two deaths, and two assists in Game One.MPL-PH-8-NXPE-def-RSG-Game-1 MPL PH: Nexplay Evos does not let up, sweeps RSG to solidify third seed ESports Mobile Legends MPL-PH News - philippine sports news

“Dalawa lang yun e, ONIC or Blacklist [yung gusto naming makalaban sa playoffs]. Blacklist sakin kasi sila yung champion,” said RENEJAY.

In Game Two, it was John Paul “H2wo” Salonga who stole the show as he snowballed early on his Hayabusa and led the quick win for the sweep. He finished with 10 kills, a death, and an assist to nab the SMART 5G MVP.
