Bren Esports put together three consecutive sweeps after dominating TNC Pro Team, 2-0, in Week 2 of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines Season 11 on Sunday.
Bren have now compiled nine points built around three straight sweeps after conceding their debut to defending world champions ECHO.
“Mukhang nagsasuffer sila (TNC) mentally. Nanggaling na kasi kami diyan eh. Same setup na 10 players,” said Bren head coach Francis “Duckey” Glindro when asked about TNC’s current season struggles.
“Sobrang hirap niya when both the teams are actually losing kasi it’s very contagious kapag masama ang pakiramdam. Nobody wants to lose,” he continued.
Rowgien Stimpson “Owgwen” Unigo (Atlas) took the Game 1 MVP after leading the initiations throughout the game en route to a 0-1-13 KDA.
He capped off his stellar performance with a three-man Fatal Links set-up during the 15th-minute base turret siege that touched off a 2-2 exchange leading to the opening win, 1-0.
The M2 World champions continued their surge in Game 2 as TNC never threatened the rest of the way.
Marco “Super Marco” Requitano (Moskov) was left untouched in the closeout win, finishing with a 4-0-2 KDA to lead Bren’s 7-4 lead in the kill tally.
