MPL PH: Blacklist continues surge with perfect clincher over Minana


Blacklist International secured their third consecutive win, narrowly escaping with a 2-1 victory over Minana Evos in Week 2 of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines Season 12 at the Shooting Gallery Studios in Makati City.

The three-time MPL PH champions reclaimed the top spot from AP Bren Esports, advancing to eight points with a 3-1 record.

In Game 1, Stephen “Sensui” Castillo (Martis) kick-started the action, notching Blacklist’s first four kills and achieving a flawless 4-0-0 KDA after the fourth-minute turtle. The Blacklist newcomer concluded with a pristine 7-0-2 KDA, leading his team to a 12-3 victory in terms of kills, closing out the opener by the 11th minute.

Game 2 saw Minana turning the tables, amassing a dominant 14-3 scoreline, with Lance “LanceCyAR” Cunanan earning the game MVP on Yve, boasting a 3-0-10 KDA.

In the decisive third game, the Tier One-backed squad completely dominated, securing the series with a perfect 10-0 scoreboard in just 13 minutes. Sensui (Martis), who already had a 2-0-3 KDA by the fifth minute, contributed four kills and five assists in the win.

Unfortunately, Minana suffered their third consecutive loss, remaining in the 8th position with only one point earned so far.
