MPL PH: AP.Bren makes quick work of TNC for second straight win

AP.Bren continued to dominate with a 2-0 sweep of TNC Pro Team for their second win in as many matches in the MPL Philippines Season 13 at the Shooting Gallery Studios in Makati City on Sunday.

Despite a lackluster opener, TNC was able to show some fight against AP.Bren before ultimately succumbing to a sweep.

“For Game 2, I think we just… like they (TNC) were trying to bring their game because they saw the first game,” explained head coach Francis “Duckeyyy” Glindro.

“They knew where they made mistakes. They tried to fix that. I think we were just a few steps ahead of them. Perhaps that’s why they gained a good footing in that game,” the decorated head coach continued.

In Game 1, Kyle “KyleTzy” Sayson (Baxia) led in a shutout win as his 4-0-8 KDA spearheaded AP.Bren’s 12-0 kill domination during an 11-minute victory.

The defending champions continued to impose their will in Game 2 with Marco “Super Marco” Requitiano (Brody) posting an unblemished 4-0-6 KDA in 12 minutes of play to clinch the series.

AP.Bren now sits atop the standings with six points, while it was TNC’s second straight loss, keeping them at the bottom of the standings with no points to show.
