MPL PH: AP.Bren keeps Omega winless with fifth consecutive sweep

AP.Bren remained spotless after another 2-0 sweep, this time against Smart Omega in Week 3 of the MPL Philippines Season 13 on Friday at the Shooting Gallery Studios in Makati City.

The M4 World Champions have not dropped a single game this season and improved to 12 points with a 5-0 record to hold onto the top spot.

“Ang meta ay nag-shift ngayon. Tingin ko wala pa sila (Omega) sa meta ngayon kaya siguro nahirapan sila sa amin,” said AP.Bren coach Robert “Trebor” Sanchez on the reason behind his team’s dominant performance.

AP.Bren delivered a surprising draft in the opener, prioritizing Masha with the first pick, which helped them secure a comfortable opening win, not allowing Smart Omega any space throughout the match.

Rowgien “Owgwen” Unigo played Masha to its fullest potential and finished with the game MVP, boasting a 7-2-1 KDA.

It was a similar story in Game 2 as the defending champions cruised to a 15-minute closeout win built around a dominating 14-2 kill score.

AP.Bren is scheduled for a juggernaut match-up against ECHO on April 6 in a battle of undefeated teams this season.
