Team SMG midlaner Jaylord “Hate” Gonzales and Burn X Flash head coach John “Zico” Dizon kick-started their respective overseas careers with victories.

Hate spearheaded Team SMG to a 2-1 victory over RSG MY in the MPL Malaysia Season 10 on Friday but lost to Haq also via 2-1 to open the first week with a 1-1 slate.

Meanwhile, Zico’s Burn X Flash swept Divinity Saga to go 1-0 in the opening week of MPL Cambodia Autumn. The team took the early second spot in the standings.
