On Sunday, Twisted Minds PH finally broke free from the bottom of the standings with a rousing victory over AP.Bren, and at the heart of it all was Michael “MP the King” Endino.
His decisive plays proved crucial in securing the team’s breakthrough performance after enduring five straight losses to start the season.
“Parang never talaga silang sumuko. Never talaga nilang pinakita na wala na silang tiwala sa amin. Bawat player parang pinupush yung isa’t isa na kaya pa yan. Tapos yung management at coaches pinupush rin yung players na bawal kami sumuko kasi sila nga di sumusuko eh,” said MP the King, emphasizing how Twisted Minds PH’s management kept the team motivated.
In their long-awaited victory, MP the King delivered a near-flawless performance with his Alice pick, amassing 10 kills and 20 assists while only conceding one death in their Game 1 and Game 3 wins.

MP the King views this victory as the potential catalyst for a late-season playoff push, mirroring their impressive turnaround last season when they reached the top four despite starting with a 0-6 record.
“Confident na confident ako sa playoff chances namin kasi last season naranasan na namin ‘to kaya alam ko na despite the setbacks, magagapang namin yung playoffs,” MP the King confidently stated.
With their first win secured, MP the King believes Twisted Minds PH will now play with greater confidence as the season progresses.
“Malaking bagay talaga yung panalo na ‘to kasi naalala ko last season, yung unang panalo talaga yung nag-ignite sa amin. ‘Yun yung biglang bumuhay sa amin na kaya naman pala namin makipagsabayan. Bakit parang takot kami maglaro? Takot kami magcommit,” he explained.
“Kaya dahil sa panalo na ‘to, tingin ko magiging malaki ang impact nito sa amin. Mas lalo kaming tatapang sa laro.”
