Hours before Sunday afternoon’s match between Motolite and Petro Gazz, the Power Builders were dealt with a huge blow.
As per Motolite Volleyball, the team’s official Twitter account, Edina Selimovic was ruled out of today’s game due to a minor injury.
“Our reinforcement Edina Selimovic will not be playing in today’s match against Petro Gazz,” the Tweet read.
“She suffered a minor knee injury during the fourth set in yesterday’s game.”
Selimovic had 15 points in Motolite’s four-set loss to PacificTown-Army last Saturday.
Moreover, according to the said tweet, Bosnian import Selimovic did not even suit up for her team as she will undergo a Magnetic Resonance Imaging [MRI] scan.
Besides Selimovic, Myla Pablo also missed the game due to a back strain.
