GameLab secured the first playoff ticket in Group B after a 2-0 conquest of Blacklist Academy in Week 5 of the Mobile Legends Development League (MDL) Philippines Season 1 on Wednesday.

They engaged Blacklist in two tight encounters that dragged on deep into the late game, finishing in 30 and 26 minutes, respectively.

When the dust settled, it was GameLab who secured a sweep to improve to 7-3 with 23 points.

Jan Bradford “XBOCT” Amande (Martis) led the way in Game 1 with a 4-1-5 KDA, while Masayuki “YukTzy” Fujita (Beatrix) took over in Game 2 with an 8-1-3 KDA.
