MDL PH: GameLab, Omega dispose of separate to firm grip on top spots

GameLab and Smart Omega Neos continued to lead their respective groups after scoring separate sweeps in Week 4 of the Mobile Legends Development League (MDL) Philippines Season 1 on Tuesday.

GameLab (6-2) lords over Group A with 20pts on six sweeps while Omega (6-2) took the top spot in Group B with 17pts.

After coming off back-to-back losses in Week 3, Game Lab successfully recovered in dominant fashion courtesy of a 2-0 sweep of Onic Arsenals.

The reigning Snapdragon Pro Series Season 1 SEA – Open Finals champion leaned on the exploits of Vincent Brian “Takenaga” Montilla (Fanny) and Jan Bradford “XBOCT” Amande (Fredriin) who both did not concede any death en route to 6-0-4 and 4-0-9 KDAs, respectively, to nab the match MVPs.

The Neos, on the other hand, stamped their class against cellar-dwelling ZOL Esports, 2-0 for their third straight win.

Omega was towed by goldlaner Christian “West” Mangabay who once again dominated with his Beatrix pick in Game 1, finishing with a perfect 7-0-5 KDA.
