Game Lab continued with its stellar Mobile Legends Development League (MDL) Philippines Season 1 campaign with a 2-0 sweep of ZOL Esports on Friday.
It was their third straight win in as many matches, taking down their rivals with similar 2-0 sweeps to continue to sit atop the standings with nine points.
After a close Game 1 encounter that needed a pivotal 5-1 wipeout early in the 17th minute to secure the victory, Game Lab went back to their dominant self with a massive 17-5 domination on the kill tally in Game 2 to complete the sweep.
Blacklist Academy, on the other hand, scored their first win of the season with a close 2-1 escape over TNC Neo to take the 4th spot with three points after Week 1 of action.
Russel Aaron “Eyon” Usi led the charge for Blacklist after finishing with an immaculate 6-0-6 KDA in the decider.
Nexplay Evos Tiger Cubs also barged into the win column after coming from behind to score a 2-1 reverse sweep of Echo Proud.
They improved to 1-1 (2pts) to tie RSG Ignite in the 7th spot.
