The Bali Pure Purest Water Defenders capped their Reinforced Conference elimination round with a decisive victory over the win-less Coast Guard Lady Dolphins.
Bali Pure finished the elimination round with a 5-2 record, making the semifinals. But their opponents are yet to be determined.
Ever the competitor, Bali Pure team captain Kaylee Manns was candid when asked who she wanted to face.
“I want to play UST in the semis then Pocari Sweat in the Finals,” said the setter.
Bali Pure’s two losses came against the UST Tigresses and the Pocari Sweat Lady Warriors. Because of this, the 28-year old reinforcement wants her squad to get vindication from their tormentors.
“We didn’t play our best against UST when we played in our first game so we definitely want to face them again,” Manns clarified.
“And I think we and Pocari will be a great series. We also didn’t play great against them so it’ll be nice for us to get a chance to play again.”
Manns said this right before the semis seedings were settled. Bali Pure now faces the Bureau of Customs Transformers in the best-of-three semis as Pocari and UST faces off in the other bracket.
