The entire Rain or Shine team was left breathless in one sequence of the second period as Paul Lee was hurt again.
This time, his right shin was hit by Ryan Reyes when he was stopped off a fastbreak play by the Talk N Text guard. According to Boy Lapid, team manager of Rain or Shine, Lee suffered a shin contusion.
“But that’s nothing serious,” Lapid texted Tiebreak Times.
Lee has just come back from a hyper extended knee injury, an injury that sidelined him for a game.
As Lee got himself banged up again, good news is awaiting Talk N Text fans as the Mighty Mouse is ready to make his return. Now in tip-top condition after working out with the team for a week, Jimmy Alapag, the Tropang Texters’ team captain, mulled his return in his team’s next game against Kia Sorento.
“If plans don’t miscarry, I might return on Friday,” added Alapag.
