Lausa’s UFC debut moved to Fight Night Melbourne

Filipino flyweight Jenel “The Demolition Man” (6-2) Lausa’s debut with the biggest mixed martial arts promotion in the world has been re-scheduled.

After UFC Fight Night Manila 2 was postponed due to an injury incurred by card headliner BJ Penn, Lausa’s bout against “The Conqueror” Yao Zhikui (2-3) has been moved UFC Fight Night 101. The card is set to be held at the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne, Australia on Saturday, November 26 (Philippine time).

Another fighter that was supposed to take to the ring during Fight Night Manila 2 has also been booked for the card, as Alex Volkanovski (13-1) will take on Yusuke Kasuya (9-2-2) in a three-round lightweight bout. “The Hulk” was originally scheduled to face Jon Tuck in Manila.
