After three years, Jenel Lausa is returning to the cage.
Lausa begins his comeback journey against Afghan prospect Rahmatullah Yousufzai come BRAVE CF 47: Asian Domination on Thursday, March 11 in Bahrain.
The 32-year-old Filipino flyweight last competed in a mixed martial arts bout back on June 23, 18, falling to Ulka Sasaki during UFC Fight Night: Cowboy vs. Edwards. The loss dropped his slate to 7-5.
After that bout, Lausa returned to boxing, racking up four wins and a draw to raise his slate to 10-0-1.
The year 2020 though saw the Ilonggo figure in a lull.
Lausa takes on a prospect who has gone unbeaten in his first four bouts.
After three fights, Yousufzai made his world debut against Abdulmanap Magomedov last September 17. He made quick work of his Russian foe, scoring a 41-second TKO win during BRAVE CF 41.
Serving as main event of Asian Domination is Filipino pride Rolando Dy taking on Abdisalam Kubanychbek in a title eliminator.
