Kielvj out to prove AURA PH wrong in releasing him

When Aura PH’s bid for a three-peat fell short last season, it took drastic measures to address major concerns.

Aura PH, who dominated both Seasons Four and Five, lost to archrival ONIC PH in the quarterfinals. That then ended their reign as the top Mobile Legends team in the country.

In a bid to restore lost glory, the team eventually released long-time players Kielvj “Kielvj” Hernandez and Renz “Renzio” Cadua, who eventually found their place in a rebuilding Execration squad.

Now, Kielvj and Renzio look to complete their unfinished mission back in Season Six. That is to win a third title — making them the winningest in the league. And they look to prove their former team wrong as they hope to cross paths with them in the process.

“Sobrang motivated ako na kalabanin sila. Gusto kong patunayan kung sino ‘yung sinayang nila,” bared Kielvj in the recent episode of the MPL-PH Exclusive Series: Bootcamp Raid.

“Kami ni kuya Renzio, gusto naming mag-three-time champion. Kami ‘yung mauuna sa Pilipinas.”

After their sudden release from Aura PH, the two thought about leaving the scene entirely a few times. Kielvj, in particular, seriously considered focusing on his academic responsibilities full-time.

The 15-year-old sidelaner-turned-core, who received an offer from Blacklist International and Execration, was able to convince himself to play once more.

He then reached out to Setsuna “Akosi Dogie” Ignacio asking if they still have a slot at Nexplay Esports, but the popular streamer could not accommodate him at the time. Instead, he urged Kielvj to accept the offer sheet from Execration.

Dead-set on proving his worth to the pro league, Kielvj accepted the Execration invitation. To his surprise, he found a familiar face joining him on his new journey. Renzio also signed up with the MPL-Philippines Season Six third placer.

With his return to the big stage all set, expect Kielvj to go all-out against his former squad.
