Kelra joins four RSG players in All-MPL team

Omega Esports’ Duane “Kelra” Pillas joined four RSG PH players in the MPL Philippines Season Nine Team of the Season, the league announced on Wednesday.

Kelra, along with jungler Jhonard “Demonkite” Caranto, support Arvie “Aqua” Calderon, exp laner and finals MVP Nathanael “Nathzz” Estrologo, and regular-season MVP Dylan “Light” Catipon, were named to the mythical selection awarded by the league after each season.

Eman “Emann” Sangco missed the cut for RSG PH.

The same thing happened last season when Kairi “Kairi” Rayosdelsol and the Blacklist International core of Johnmar “OhMyV33NUS” Villaluna, Edward “Edward” Dapadap, Kiel “OHEB” Soriano, and Salic “Hadji” Imam composed the Season Eight Team of the Season.

RSG PH nabbed the MPL Philippines Season Nine title after beating Omega Esports, 4-1, in the grand finals last Sunday.

The Raiders posted a dominant 10-1 win-loss slate in the playoffs while the SMART-backed squad, who ranked sixth in the regular season, crawled its way from the lower bracket to reach the finals.

Both teams will represent the Philippines in the 2022 Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup this June 11 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
