As Duanne “Kelra” Pillas and Fnatic ONIC Philippines secured their spot in the knockout rounds of the M6 World Championship with a 2-1 victory over BloodThirstyKings on Sunday, the MPL PH Finals MVP remains focused on self-improvement.
Despite his standout performances throughout the tournament, Kelra’s humility shines through.
He acknowledges there is still more to achieve on his journey and continues to focus on perfecting his craft.
May kulang pa rin sa laro ko, may hinahanap pa ako na kailangan ko pang i-improve,” the 19-year-old gold laner shared in an exclusive interview with Tiebreaker Times.
Kelra also credits the leadership of ONIC Philippines’ head coach, Anthony “Ynot” Senedrin, for the team’s impressive performance.
He highlights that Coach Ynot’s guidance has been key in helping the team step up their game and make a lasting impact on the world stage.
“Sobrang laki.
As ONIC Philippines looks ahead to the knockout stage, Kelra stressed the importance of maintaining the same mindset that got them this far.
He believes that in order for the team to continue their journey in the world championship, they must remain focused and driven by the determination that propelled them into the tournament’s later rounds.
“Siguro yung mindset.
