Fil-Hawaiian Kalei Mau did not suit up for F2 Logistics in their opening day match against Generika Ayala Lifesavers, Saturday afternoon.
According to team manager Hollie Reyes, Mau – who decided to join F2 Logistics following the disbandment of United VC – has yet to fully adjust with her new team.
Given this, the coaches and management have decided not to field the Outside Hitter.
“Hindi pa kasi siya nakaka-adjust sa team. Two to three days pa lang siya nakakapag-training kasama yung team, kaya ganun,” Reyes said.
“Okay naman yung conditioning niya. Yung sa jelling at chemistry kasama ng team lang talaga.”
The 6-foot-2 pro confided in an interview after the national team training last Thursday that her first training with F2 Logistics had just been earlier that day.
“I just jumped in at practice this morning. It was my first day back,” Mau said last Thursday.
Mau will most likely make her debut for the Cargo Movers in their second or third game.
