Kairi leads ONIC Esports to top of MPL ID, to M4

Kairi “Kairi” Rayosdelsol’s transfer proved to be worth it in the end after he steered ONIC Esports to the MPL Indonesia Season 10 title following a 4-1 victory over defending champion RRQ Hoshi, Sunday.

The newly-crowned Most Valuable Player also nabbed the Finals MVP award for his solid performance on the grand stage.

Kairi delivered six kills and five assists without a single death on his signature Ling to help ONIC Esports draw first blood but Deden “Clayy” Nurhasan answered back in Game Two, scoring a crucial Savage on Valentina to help RRQ Hoshi tie the series.

From there, it was all ONIC Esports as they took the next three games to dethrone the Kings of Kings.

Kairi shared the prestigious moment with coach Denver “Yeb” Miranda, who has been his mentor since his days with ONIC Philippines. Another Filipino was also on the big stage in coach Michael “Arcadia” Bocado of RRQ Hoshi.

Both ONIC Esports and RRQ Hoshi will represent Indonesia in the M4 World Championships where they will face Philippine bets Blacklist International and ECHO.
