Finally making a comeback as a professional MLBB player with his recent signing with Malaysian champions Team Haq, Robert “Hito” Candoy revealed to the press on Saturday that former teammates Patrick “E2MAX” Caidic and Duane “Kelra” Pillas both turned emotional when he told them about his impending transfer to Malaysia.
“Ang unang nakaalam na may nag-offer sakin from another country is si E2max. Nung nalaman niya after three days na igogo ko na yung opportunity, umiyak siya. Umiyak talaga si E2max,” shared Robert “Hito” Candoy who just came back to the Philippines after a two-week stay in Malaysia to process his documents for the MPL Malaysia Season 11 slated to open on March 10.
Long-time teammate Kelra was also one of those who shed tears when the news broke out.
It was a big step and a huge decision for Hito given his rich history with the team and the mystery of the possible struggles of playing on foreign soil.
What firmed his resolve in moving overseas was getting the support of his coaches from Smart Omega.
