Exort lined up by Nexplay for MPL-PH 7

Left unsigned in Season Six, Dexter “Exort” Martinez is set for redemption with Nexplay Esports come the MPL-Philippines Season Seven.

The former ArkAngel Wicked Minds member is part of the lineup submitted by Nexplay Esports for the roster lock.

Exort last played for Geek Fam PH in Season Five, wherein the team fell out of the main draw after finishing at the bottom two.

Once considered as one of the scene’s rising stars after a breakout performance in The Nationals with PLDT-Smart Omega, Exort was left out of the league in Season Six.

He will be tasked to lead the young core of John Paul “H2Wo” Salonga, Renejay “Renejay” Barcarse, and Tristan “Yawi” Cabrera following Nexplay Esports’ dismal 5th-8th place finish in Season Six.

Completing the squad are rookies James “jeymz” Gloria and Lance “LanceCy” Cunanan. Both were part of Nexplay Esports’ amateur squads before being promoted to the MPL squad.

Former team captain Bien “Mb” Esquillo and support Chester “Chester” Gonzales were relegated to Nexplay Liquid.

Exort and co. will look to test their mettle against the league’s best in March.
