Erika Raagas leaves Akari for Galeries Tower

Following her split with Akari, Erika Raagas has officially joined Galeries Tower for the 2026 Premier Volleyball League season.

The Highrisers welcomed the former Ateneo standout on Saturday evening, signaling a fresh start for the 5-foot-7 outside hitter.

Raagas will be part of a revamped roster that includes former Petro Gazz libero BLove Barbon and ex-ZUS Coffee libero Julia Angeles, all under the leadership of Jean Asis and Julia Coronel.

Raagas had been with Akari since the team joined the league in 2022. While she showed flashes of brilliance under then-head coach Jorge Souza de Brito, injuries and limited playing time in a deep Chargers lineup eventually slowed her momentum.

At Galeries Tower, Raagas is expected to be a key offensive weapon and a central figure in the team’s attacking schemes.
