Nxled continued its strong start, fending off Galeries Tower, 25-16, 22-25, 25-17, 25-19, to claim solo first place with its third consecutive victory in the 2026 Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference Siklab series on Thursday at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
The Chameleons once again leaned on their blocking to sustain their momentum, finishing with 14 kill blocks after erupting for 23 in their previous game. Their defensive effort helped stifle the Highrisers and extend their winning streak to three games, improving their record to 3-0.
“Well, it’s nice to see that we have the same resilience that we showed in the last part of the PVL On Tour, and especially during the Invitational. So we started definitely following the same line, so I see a bunch of determination in the team,” said Nxled head coach Ettore Guidetti.
“I see the team definitely more calm and serene, even if we are facing difficult situations, because this conference is made of teams that are, all of them, very good. No single team is weak. And so it’s really important to see that this kind of energy is definitely being constant,” he added.

Gel Cayuna orchestrated Nxled’s offense with 20 excellent sets while contributing eight points, and veteran libero Bang Pineda added 10 excellent digs.
Aside from its commanding 14-4 advantage in kill blocks, Nxled also dominated in attacks, 61-46. After dropping the second set, the Chameleons regrouped to take the next two frames and secure their third straight victory, moving into solo first place.
Nxled will enjoy a nearly two-week break before returning to action against Choco Mucho on November 3 at 6 p.m. at the SMART Araneta Coliseum.
