ECHO sweeps All-MPL PH 11 team as MVP Owgwen snubbed

Echo is taking the MLBB pro scene by storm.

After back-to-back sweeps of Blacklist International in the M4 World Championship and the MPL Philippines Season 11 grand finals, Echo has now swept the team of the season awards.

Leading the way is two-time world champion Karl “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno, who was hailed as Season 11’s best jungler.

M4 grand finals MVP Benedict “Bennyqt” Gonzales, on the other hand, won the award for the best goldlaner, while Tristan “Yawi” Cabrera took home the title of best roamer.

The San-San duo, composed of Alston “Sanji” Pabico and Sanford “Sanford” Vinuya, also received recognition, winning the awards for best midlaner and best exp laner, respectively.

This achievement adds to Echo’s success after securing their first franchise title in Season 11 with a 4-0 conquest of defending champion Blacklist, where Sanford was hailed as the grand finals MVP.

Curiously, regular season MVP Rowgien “Owgen” Unigo of Bren Esports was not included in the team of the season.

This is the first time that the regular season MVP has been left out of the Team of the Season award since Season 8.

The Team of the Season awards recognize the top players from each position during the season. Members of the media, MPL talents, and other stakeholders in the league participated in the voting committee that selected the winners.
