Dlar moves to Indonesia, signs with EVOS Legends

It’s official.

Gerald “Dlar” Trinchera, arguably the best EXP laner that the Philippines has produced, has signed a deal with EVOS Legends for the upcoming Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League-Indonesia Season 10, Thursday.

Tiebreaker Times was the first to report the development.

EVOS Legends was coming off a back-to-back top four finishes in Season Eight (3rd) and Season Nine (4th).

The team lost to Aura Fire in four games in the lower bracket semifinals.

Incidentally, Dlar also steered ONIC PH to a fourth-place finish in the MPL Philippines Season Nine. The reigning M3 silver medalist bowed to eventual grand finalist Omega Esports via sweep also in the lower bracket semis.

The 22-year-old pride of Malabon City finished Season Nine with a 3.28 KDA average. He also tallied 86 kills, 87 deaths, and 199 assists.

Dlar has yet to win an MPL title after settling for three silver medal finishes in Season Four, Season Five, and Season Nine. He made it into the grand finals of the M3 World Championships but eventually lost to Blacklist International.

The veteran EXP laner will be joining former teammates Kairi “Kairi” Rayosdelsol (ONIC Esports) and Marky “Markyyyyy” Capacio (Bigetron Alpha), and coach Denver “Yeb” Miranda) in MPL Indonesia.

Also heading overseas is ex-ONIC PH midlaner Jaylord “Hate” Gonzales.
