After getting shut out in the last two Southeast Asian Games, the Philippine national equestrian team ended the 2017 edition with two medals, the latest of which was a gold, as Colin Syquia were the fastest in the jump off, Monday morning at the Equestrian Park, Putrajaya, Malaysia.

The 47-year old, riding his horse Adventure E, cleared the course at a swift 37.63 to secure Philippines’ 23rd gold of the Games, ahead of Malaysians Sharmini Christina Ratnasingham and Mohd Qabil Ambak Mahamad Fathil in the timed jump off.
