Cignal Ultra blasts BREN for share of top spot in The Nationals DOTA 2

Defending champion Cignal tied Laus Auto Group Playbook Esports at the top of the standings after taking down BREN Epro, 2-0, in The Nationals Season 2 Dota 2 conference, Wednesday evening.

Cignal’s Jamesy put up 11 kills, five deaths, and nine assists using Witch Doctor in Game Two. He also had a total net worth of 22,151, placing second to ABAT’s Alchemist who tallied 26,731 along with a 3-1-7 statline.

BREN was able to wipe out Cignal in the waning minutes of the match through a triple kill Jaina (Void Spirit) and a double kill from Ligaya’s Earth Spirit. However, time was not on their side as the Dire’s creeps managed to seal the deal for Cignal.

Jaina ended Game Two with eight kills, four deaths, and 10 assists while Hezelya (Pangolier) pumped in nine kills, six deaths, and seven assists for BREN.

Cignal is now on a two-way tie with LPE, sweeping all of their matches for a 4-0 card — good for six points.

BREN remained dead-last with a 0-4 standing.

In the other game, STI E-Olympians and Happy Feet Emperors settled for a draw after two matches.

STI drew first blood in the series but HFE was quick to bounce back, snatching Game Two to end the series at a 1-1 stalemate.

STI took the second place with a 2-2 win-loss record, tallying two points while HFE tied with Smart Omega in the third spot with identical 1-3 records for a point each.
