Bren Esports conducts investigation on allegations, suspends players involved

In light of the serious allegations posted on Facebook surrounding its players, MPL Philippines team Bren Esports has officially issued a statement addressing the matter on Tuesday night.

The multi-titled organization said that they are currently doing an investigation regarding the allegations and shared that they have already placed the individuals that were allegedly involved in the incident under preventive suspension.

“We have been made aware of accusations and serious allegations involving some of our athletes. We are currently investigating the situation and doing everything we can to reach out to the individuals involved to get all the crucial information relevant to the issue at hand. We have placed the persons involved under preventive suspension as we complete our investigation,” said Bren Esports in a statement.

“We are doing our best to get important statements from the relevant personalities at the center of the controversy and we remain open to communicating with the parties involved and hoping that they provide us with information essential to our investigation so that we can address the issue at hand,” the statement continued.

Bren Esports ended the statement by condemning any form of harassment.

“We will never condone any form of harassment from our employees and athletes. The professional conduct of our players on and off the stage is of utmost importance to us and we expect our players to represent the professionalism we advocate at all times.”

The organization’s Mobile Legends: Bang Bang head coach, Francis “Duckey” Glindro, posted a screenshot of a Facebook post where the user was accusing one of his players of rape. The veteran tactician has since deleted the post.
