BON CHAN shoulders blame for Wise’s hero choices

Blacklist International coach Kristoffer “BON CHAN” Ricaplaza slammed the fans criticizing Danerie “Wise” Del Rosario’s hero pool on a Facebook post, Saturday evening.

The player-turned-coach leaped to the defense of his jungler after a number of viewers took shots at Wise’s current hero pool in the ongoing Mobile Legends Professional League-Philippines Season Seven regular season.

In Blacklist International’s past five games, the former ONIC PH jungler has used the hero Granger 11 times out of 13. The Tier One-backed squad posted a 4-1 record in that span, only losing to defending champion Bren Esports via a reverse sweep.

“Ban Granger or deny Granger if you guys want to see a different hero for Wise. ‘Di siya ang pumi-pick ng heroes niya kung ‘di ako, so why not ask me instead of bashing him nay un lang kuno ang alam niya gamitin,” expressed the 31-year-old tactician.

“Kung siya lang ang masusunod, ang dami na sana niyang napakitang different heroes.”

The former SxC Imbalance tank sees no reason to pick another hero for Wise whenever Granger is available. Why? Well, Blacklist International’s 9-1 record can speak for that.

“This leads us to the question, ‘Bakit Granger lang ang pinapagamit mo kay Wise coach?’ The answer is simple. It’s because auto-win kami sa Granger, not literally auto-win but all of our only three losses with Granger are just comebacks.”

Currently, Wise has played a total of eight heroes this Season Seven namely Bruno, Yi Sun-Shin, Karrie, Harley, Benedetta, Brody, Roger, and the controversial Granger – who pundits and coaches believe is the best jungler in the metagame right now simply because of his ability to farm fast.

BON CHAN also shared that the same reasoning goes to Blacklist hero Kiel “Oheb” Soriano – who has played the majority of their games as either Alice and Harith.

If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, right?
