Blacklist International coach Kristoffer “Bon Chan” Ricaplaza lauded Nexplay EVOS for its improved play during its debut in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League-Philippines Season Eight on Saturday night.
The new and improved Nexplay squad gave the reigning MPL champions a run for their money, securing the series-tying Game Two before threatening to take the all-important Game Three.
Blacklist International, though, showed nerves of steel in the end game to carve out their second-straight win in Season Eight.
Still, Bon Chan could not help but praise the retooled Nexplay squad who showed off its improved wares in the series. For the MPL champion coach, the addition of analyst Neil “Midnight” De Guzman and John “Zico” Dizon pretty much spelled the difference for EVOS.
So ngayon, parang mas kumpleto na sila sa staff,” said the player-turned-coach.
“Shoutout kay Midnight, good job.”
Bon Chan also praised rookie Jhonwin “Hesa” Vergara, who gave a good account of himself in his MPL debut.
