Kalei Mau slid further down to rank 37 after not playing to start Week 2 of the Athletes Unlimited Volleyball Season 2 on Thursday.
The Fil-Hawaiian’s Team Stivrins fell to Team Drews, 64-69 (25-19, 22-25, 17-25), at the Fair Park Coliseum in Dallas, Texas.
The 6-foot-2 open spiker earned just 40 points in the contest, thanks to her squad’s first set win.
Mau now has 378 total points after four outings while the league leader Bethania De la Cruz has already amassed 1,159 points.
It was total domination for Team Drews with all of its 11 players getting more points than all of Team Stivrins wards.
Libero Amanda Benson gained the most for Team Drews with 298 points with 17 digs, six excellent receptions, a service ace, and winning MVP-1 honors.
Rachael Fara, Noami Santos-Lamb, and Tori Dilfer still got 140 points apiece despite not playing, three more than Leah Edmond and Falyn Fonoimoana who tallied 137 points each for Team Stivrins.
Dani Drews got 246 points with 16 kills, two aces, 11 excellent receptions, and six digs.
Mau’s Team Stivrins will meet Team De la Cruz on Saturday, 7:00 AM (Manila time), at the same Dallas venue.
