Emergency room staff of St. Luke’s Medical Center in Bonifacio Global City were given a simple treat last April 21.
Shoe company ASICS, together with the brass of St. Lukes, showed their appreciation to the hardworking men and women of the hospital by giving them a fresh pair of shoes.
The model of shoes was the Jolt 2, which retails at PHP 3,141.
“The model of these shoes is specifically designed for healthcare workers â lightweight and made with neutral cushioning that provides comfort even during long-hours of standing,” St. Luke’s statement read.
“We walk with you in this journey towards healing and recovery. You are not alone as we flatten the curve together.”
The staff of St. Luke’s have been working non-stop since enhanced community quarantine was implemented in Manila.
As of May 7, there have been 283 confirmed cases of the coronavirus (COVID-19) in Taguig.
