CEBU CITY — Alyssa Solomon is taking her talents to Thailand, signing with Nakhon Ratchasima for the 2026-27 Women’s Volleyball Thailand League season as she embarks on the second overseas stint of her professional career.
The former National University star is set to begin a new chapter with the Thai club after spending the 2025-26 season with Osaka Marvelous in Japan’s SV.League.
Solomon first ventured overseas following her collegiate career with National University, joining Osaka for her maiden professional stint.
However, her contract with the Marvelous was not renewed after the season, leaving her to explore other opportunities for the next chapter of her career.

The Filipino opposite hitter was initially expected to debut in the Premier Volleyball League after entering the 2026 PVL Rookie Draft.
However, she withdrew name from the pool, keeping her options open as she pursued opportunities abroad.
She last represented the country at the 20th Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, in 2026.
Her transfer to Thailand gives Solomon another opportunity to gain international experience and continue her development against a different set of competition, following her first season in Japan.
