RSG Slate PH jungler John “1rrad” Tuazon impressed in his playoff debut, leading his team to a masterful sweep of ONIC PH en route to the second round of the MPL Philippines Season 11 playoffs on Thursday night.
The former Z4 Esports jungler delivered nine assists without a single death to set the tone in RSG Slate PH’s dominant 14-1 Game One win in 15 minutes and eight seconds.
1rrad stepped up a notch and showed his versatility in Game Two, scoring a team-high eight kills and nine assists against one death on Hayabusa in the 24-12 victory before ending the series with a 2-1-9 KDA line on Fredrinn in a 16-4 Game Three win.
The 19-year-old jungler, who only came on board during the last week of the regular season, said that the two-week break prior to the playoffs helped him mesh with the team more, resulting in his stellar performance against ONIC PH.
Like kung ano yung finocus namin sa una, natapos namin,” said 1rrad during the post-match interview.
1rrad and RSG Slate PH will take on Season 11 tormentor ECHO in the upper bracket semifinals on Thursday at 5:00 PM.
